Roof Restoration
With a wide range
of applications, Precision Roofing, Inc. utilizes acrylic urethane and
urethane coatings to restore existing Roof Systems, Because we are not
contractually obligated to any one manufacturer, Precision Roofing, Inc. helps
building owners choose the product that best fits the roofing needs.
As a non-destructive restoration process, Precision Roofing, Inc.
utilized Roof Coatings on Metal Building/Roofs, Built-up systems, Modified
Systems, Concrete, and Foam. Urethane Coatings are also used to restore exterior
Gutter Systems, Built-in Gutters, & Valleys.
The net two pages will outline the Scope of Work for the
restoration of a Metal Roof. Option (1) repairs the roof (making it watertight)
and carries a 5-year warranty. Option (2) repairs the coats entire roof surface
and carries a 10-year warranty. I have also included a brochure of one of the
manufacturers that we use.

Metal Roof Repair
Option (1)
- Pressure wash all areas that will be repaired
including seam areas, ridge cap flashings, skylights, vertical curb
flashing, perimeter flashing, and gutters. Remove all dirt debris any
previous repair (asphalt, seam tape) has made utilizing a 3,000 PSI Pressure
Washer.
- Treat any areas of rust with a rust inhibitor primer
coating.
- All seams, flashings, etc. will be repaired with a
base coat acrylic/urethane OC 5000. A 6 inch polyester scrim will be
embedded into the base coat. After the base coat has dried sufficiently, a
second coat of OC 5000 will be installed over the polyester scrim.
- All mechanical fasteners will be tightened and/or
replaced before the OC 5000 can be applied utilizing a special pneumatic
gun.
- A clear coat of acrylic will be applied to all
skylights, sealing and strengthening the fiberglass panels.
- All gutter joints will be sealed with urethane and
polyester scrim. All fasteners and supports will be sealed and coated.
- Metal Roof Repair Option (1) carries a 5-year
Manufacturer/Precision Roofing, Inc. warranty.

Apply two (2) coats of acrylic/urethane OC 5000 at the rate of 2.5 gallons per
100 square feet.

Metal Roof Repair Option (2) carries a 10-year Manufacture/Precision Roofing,
Inc. warranty.
